Meanwhile, the portals of the established institutions of the art world are gradually opening up for these forms of expression. Nowadays galleries and museums are jumping on the band wagon to be a part of the commercialization of these movements.
However, the historical origin and the essential core content of graffiti/street art remains hidden from the public often enough.
